Love can make you cross oceans and that seems to be the case with singer Dua Lipa. According to a recent report, Dua has crossed the Atlantic to be closer to beau Anwar Hadid.
The couple who started dating last year, spend their initial lockdown time at the singer’s London place. According to the report, the Kiss and Make Up singer (24) has moved to the States to live with her boyfriend (21) fearing she won’t be able to travel to and fro because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Eager to stay in the same place as Anwar Hadid, she has decided to stay at a luxurious property near his family in Beverly Hills.
A source told The Sun: ‘It was difficult to get to the US in the first place and she knows it’s not going to be easy going back and forth because she would have to quarantine for weeks on end.”
The source continued, “But she knows plenty of people in Los Angeles, as does Anwar, who has lived there in the past, so she’s feeling optimistic.”
Further adding, “Being in the US right now is great for pushing her career there too, especially with new music coming out. Dua’s making their new place nice and homely and she has just got a puppy called Dexter with Anwar because they see their future in LA.”
For the unversed, Anwar Hadid is the younger brother of renowned models Gigi (25) and Bella (23). His mother is the famed Dutch model, Yolanda Hadid and his father is the millionaire real estate tycoon, Mohamed Hadid.
Dua Lipa & bf Anwar began renting an apartment together in New York last September after just three months of dating. After spending their initial lockdown time at the singer’s London place, the couple headed to St Lucia where they quarantined for two weeks.
