David Beckham has defined a generation in football and continues to inspire young fans to date. Coming in is good news that the 45-year-old footballer is in talks with streaming giants Netflix and Amazon to make a film about his life. David is inspired by a recent documentary about Michael Jordon, and below is all you need to know.
For the unversed, a documentary based on Michael Jordon titled The Last Dance released on Netflix recently. It is this one that has inspired David Beckham to document his life. Beckham is producing the film under his TV company Studio 99. The same company he launched last year.
The work on the yet-untitled documentary has already begun. Reportedly David Beckham has even approached OTT giants Netflix and Amazon for the same.
Talking about the same a source close to the development in The Sun report said, “It’s something David is excited about and has wanted to do for a while. The film will feature new content and archive footage.”
‘It’s going to be about David’s life post-football, especially the creation of his new team in Miami, but will have some personal content too. Interest in his life and family is huge. Everyone has high hopes for this,” the source added.
Meanwhile, apart from David Beckham’s documentary, he is also making headlines for son Brooklyn’s wedding. The 21-year-old is taking the nuptial plunge with Nicola Peltz. Reportedly, said to be a star-studded affair, will also have Prince Harry and Meghan in attendance.
