It seems like while the world is fighting the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of batmen are busy at work. Robert Pattinson is also set to play the hero in ‘The Batman,’. Now, we hear Ben Affleck too, is set to return to the iconic role in Flash.

Ben played Batman in Zack Snyder’s ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ (2016) and ‘Justice League’ (2017). He also appeared in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. Since a while, speculations were strong with regards to the actor playing the superhero.

After endless speculation and constant back-and-forth, Vanity Fair has confirmed that Ben Affleck is returning as Batman for a role in Andy Muschietti’s ‘The Flash’. Talking about the character, the director said, “His Batman has a dichotomy that is very strong, which is his masculinity—because of the way he looks, and the imposing figure that he has, and his jawline —but he’s also very vulnerable.” Adding, “He knows how to deliver from the inside out, that vulnerability. He just needs a story that allows him to bring that contrast, that balance.”
