Avengers: Endgame gave us million reasons to go insane, both in a happy and a sad way. Although we had Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) bid goodbye to MCU, we also saw another superhero mark his exit in style. We’re talking about Captain America’s moment of picking up Chris Hemsworth AKA Thor’s Mjolnir. Here’s how Chris Evans first reacted on learning about it.
The film witnessed a savage moment when Captain America picked up Thor’s Mjolnir during the climax sequence in his battle against the mighty Thanos (Josh Brolin). We all remember how we were left with our jaw dropping, and totally surprised. The same thing happened with Chris Evans when he first learnt about a sequence as such being on the cards.
It all happened when Comic Book held a twitter QnA asking Marvel fans to drop in their questions, which may just be answered by the makers. A fan as, “When did you tell @ChrisEvans that he was going to wield Mjolnir and who was on set for when it was filmed? What was the reaction?”
The makers of Avengers: Endgame, Russo Brothers, themselves revealed behind the sets secret as they responded, “It was early in development when we let him know he was going to pick up the hammer… needless to say he was psyched. The crew on these films are filled with comic book lovers, so you can guess how excited everyone was the day we filmed this (sic).”

Meanwhile, it is being said that some of the Avengers film may just witness a rerun post the lockdown. The same was even being speculated about James Cameron’s Avatar. Which means, a box office clash between Avengers: Endgame and Avatar may just be on the cards all over again.
The Marvel film currently has the throne of highest ever grossing film.
