Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Raashii Khanna, will hit the big screens tomorrow. Dharma Productions has worked hard to boost pre-release hype with unique promotional strategies. The action-thriller revolves around an off-duty soldier devising a strategy to defeat the hijackers on a plane and ensure the survival of the passengers when the engine fails. Just yesterday, the makers announced the opening of advance booking with a billboard in Mumbai.
Yodha Day 1 Advance Booking
As per the latest box office update, Yodha has added a total collection of 62 lakhs gross via advance booking on day 1. Around 33,000+ tickets have been sold so far. Today marks a crucial day, and hopefully, the 50K ticket milestone will be achieved.
Having said that, Yodha will be largely dependent on word of mouth. Sidharth Malhotra has previously delivered a success like Shershaah, where he slipped into the uniform of a soldier. He will be returning back to the action genre, and it is to be seen whether fans will shower an equal amount of love.
Yodha Pre-Release Strategies
Previously, Karan Johar and the makers released the trailer mid-air in a never-seen-before strategy. Sidharth Malhotra, along with the star cast and the producers, were on a flight with the media persons when they unveiled the big surprise.
After that, the makers also collaborated with Battlegrounds India and one could see Sidharth Malhotra feature in PubG mobile. An adventure comic based on the life of the character Arun Katyal has also been released in association with Pratilipi Comics.
