Shahid Kapoor starrer neo-noir drama Udta Punjab showed good growth over the weekend. The film collected 33.80 crores in its opening weekend at the domestic box office.

With this total, Udta Punjab has become the 5th highest opening weekend grosser of 2016. The film has beaten the opening weekend collection of Ki And Ka (25.23 crores) and Kapoor And Sons (26.35 crores).
