Tamil movie superstar Suriya has had two releases so far this year. And he is not done yet! After Karuppu and Vishwanath & Sons, the actor is now looking forward to the film Scene for Diwali. Both Karuppu and Vishwanath & Sons crossed the 200 crore mark globally. So, can Scene help the superstar complete a 2026 hat-trick at the box office?

Can Scene Cross 200 Crore At The Box Office?

Suriya next was announced recently with a title reveal video. The actor will be donning the cop avatar for the upcoming film. The upcoming movie has been directed by Jithu Madhavan of Aavesham (Malayalam) fame. The film also stars Malayalam stars Nazriya Nazim and Naslen. Both actors have a great track record in Malayalam. While Naslen’s last big hit was Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra, Nazriya’s last two films, Sookshmadarshini (Malayalam) and Ante Sundaraniki (Telugu), were box-office hits. Meanwhile, the film also features music by Sushin Shyam, one of Mollywood’s biggest music composers.

Scene has a strong team of technical crew and cast. The is the first time that Suriya, Naslen, and Nazriya will be seen together. While Suriya‘s stardom will help the film shine in Tamil Nadu, it is expected to do well in Kerala. Since most of the crew is from Mollywood it has that advantage.

The title announcement video has already raised excitement for the film. He will play DSP Inbaraj in a mass-action avatar. The character plays by his own rules. Jithu Madhavan previously directed Aavesham, where Fahadh Faasil played the widely popular role of Ranjith Gangadharan. The film also has other memorable characters. It remains to be seen how Jithu handles the characters in Scene.

Additionally, the film has a Diwali release, making it a perfect choice for family audiences. The holiday season is perfect for a good film to achieve blockbuster status. Scene has every potential to become a 200-crore global grosser and earn Suriya his hat-trick.
