Even in its fifth weekend, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha continues to entice audiences. The film is running at select screens with just a show or two being allocated to it. Still, at the number of properties, the film was running to good capacity over the weekend, which ensured that around 1.50 crores* more were added between Saturday and Sunday. In the times when a majority of films lose steam by the second weekend itself, it’s remarkable to see how the sci-fi rom-com still stays on to be relevant in the fifth weekend as well.
As a result, the total so far for the film reads as 87 crores*. This is superb because while it’s already the third biggest grosser ever for Shahid Kapoor after Padmaavat and Kabir Singh, for Kriti Sanon, too, it has emerged as one of her biggest ever.
Her Top-3 films are centuries in the form of multi-starrers Housefull 4 [208.50 crores] & Dilwale [148 crores] along with much hyped Adipurush [136 crores]. However, when it comes to core romcoms, it is next only to Luka Chuppi [95 crores] now and that too was a Maddock Films production by Dinesh Vijan.
