Student Of The Year Box Office Opens Well at the Multiplexes

Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year seems to have taken a good opening at multiplexes across India. The movie, as expected, has kicked off pretty well in the metros and had an average occupancy rate of about 45% in multiplexes across India. Occupancy in Delhi was ever better with about 60%.

Single Screen Theaters are unlikely to do well with Student Of The Year and it will only have to depend on the multiplex box office collections. Considering the star cast of the movie the opening is pretty good. KJos newbies are sure being liked by the multiplex crowds. However, the challenge will be the high budget of the Bollywood Flick.
