Sonam’s Neerja Becomes 2016’s 2nd Highest Grosser, After Akshay’s Airlift

Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja, which performed extremely well in its 2nd weekend and has now become the 2nd highest grossing film of 2016. Till now the film has collected 50.12 crores and is just behind Akshay Kumar’s Airlift, which has the lifetime collection of 127.80 crores.

Till now 5 states have made this film tax-free, which will definitely uplift the business of Neerja. This Ram Madhvani directorial venture also stars Shabana Azmi, Yogendra Tiku and Shekhar Ravjiani in supporting roles.
