Shaadi Ke Side Effects which made a good start on the opening day and continued a decent performance on the weekend suffered an expected 50% drop on Monday. The film collected in the range of 2.60 crores on its 1st Monday at the box office. The film now stands at a total income of 24.10 crores at the domestic box office.
The film failed to pick up even in the North circuit where it had received a sizable footfall over the weekend. With an urban appeal and aimed at the multiplex audience, the film was expected to make decent collections. Although strong on the star quotient, it did not charm the audiences enough. While the film is expected to remain the same over the week, it may not gross more than a total of 30 crores by the conclusion of its opening week at the box office.
