Prakash Jha’s Satyagraha made a very good business in its 1st Week at the Domestic Box Office. However, with the new releases namely – Zanjeer and Shuddh Desi Romance, the movie had to face a severe screen crunch and thus witnessed a fall on 2nd Friday.
Satyagraha collected 1.30 crores on 2nd Friday, taking its domestic total to 56.30 crores at the Box Office, while on the overseas front, this socio-political drama managed to rake in 13.50 crores at the Box Office.
Though the movie saw a smooth box office run in Week 1, it will now have to struggle a lot to collect decent moolah during Week 2 journey at the Box Office! The word of mouth publicity for Satyagraha is good enough to garner audience in the weekends!
