Satya 2 at no point matches up to the caliber of its prequel. The film, on its opening day faced with magnanimous releases like Krrish 3 and Thor, could only earn in the range of 60 lacs at the domestic box office.

The film’s collections sparked off at an insignificant note. A major chunk of its collections came from Delhi and UP circuit where the film made 10 lacs and in Punjab its earnings settled at 5 lacs.

Trade estimates suggest that it will have trouble reaching the crore mark. Given the negative reviews and screen crunch, there is little hope for the film.
