Ek Tha Tiger has proven itself globally. The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer not only did well in India but also grossed a handsome amount at the overseas box office. Ek Tha Tigershattered the fastest 100 Crore record in India and also did astonishingly well abroad.
The movie crossed the 200 Crore benchmark in merely 12 days globally. After a grand run of 12 days at the global box office the movie had stood at 173 Crores in Indian and 39 Crores overseas. Ek Tha Tiger did exceptionally well in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom among others.

This is indeed a huge success for Salman and Katrina fans. The tiger’s roar at the box office seems to have silenced all the critics. Fan following does matter. There is no doubt about the fact that the movie’s success is mainly coz of Salman’s huge fan following which seems to be growing by the minute. All said and done Salman has indeed come a long way from Maine Pyaar Kiya to Ek Tha Tiger. Not to mention the popular chemistry between Salman and Katrina can raise thunderstorms.
