Kick remained steady on the third Wednesday, making a business of 1.20 crores yesterday. The film now stands with a total collection of 227.65 crores. The action drama, which has so far maintained a good pace at the box office, has now beaten the lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chennai Express, which stands at a total business of 226.70 crores.
Kick is now the 3rd Highest Grosser of All Time, after Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 and Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3.
The film seemed to have had an effect on its business because of last week’s release Entertainment which seized quite a bit of audiences due to a higher screen count. Also since Kick is currently in its third week, the film has slowed down now.
With the release of Singham Returns release this week, Kick will be affected even more as the Rohit Shetty film is a biggie that is releasing over the extended weekend of Independence day.
