Players lost the box-office game. Its weekend net collection in India was barely Rs. 15 crore which is less than the first day’s collection of some recent big releases! The dull collections went further down from Monday onwards so that the week closed at around Rs. 22 crore only. Ponty Chaddha, who acquired the all-India rights of the film for over Rs. 32 crore, would, alongwith the distributors to whom he further sold the rights for some territories of India, stand to lose around 50% of the investment. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the producers of the The Italian Job remake, will also lose part of their heavy investment.

The Darkest Hour: Gloom At Box-Office

Darkest Hour – Maut Ki Aandhi (dubbed) did ordinary business in its first week. Although the original English version, The Darkest Hour, fared better, it was just about okay. The total for the dubbed version was Rs. 91,92,098 from 136 prints. The English version’s total was Rs. 1,34,07,028 from 125 prints.

Don 2: In Fast Fall

Don 2 is falling fast and furiously. In its third week, it managed Rs. 3,84,94,139 from 305 prints.

Mission: Impossible – Pulling Out Now

Mission Impossible – Gupt Vidhaan (dubbed) was pulled out of many cinemas after a 4-week run. The original English version, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, may complete just a week more at most of the places where it entered 5th week.

Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl & The Dirty Picture: Box-Office Update

Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl could collect only Rs. 6,17,122 in its 5th week from 30 prints. The Dirty Picture collected Rs. 55,79,662 from 123 prints in its 6th week.
