Moana is set to beat X-Men worldwide
X-Men, directed by Bryan Singer, is the first film in the franchise and one of the oldest Marvel movies. The film features an ensemble cast including Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, James Marsden, Bruce Davison, Rebecca Romijn, Ray Park, and Anna Paquin.
It collected $296.3 million at the worldwide box office. The Dwayne Johnson starrer Moana is less than $3 million away from surpassing this popular comic book/superhero movie worldwide. It is not much of a milestone, but it will still be a box-office win. This will keep it in the news, but will not do much to help it survive its fate.
