Yes, Manjummel Boys, after spending three weeks and two days in theatres, has managed to cross the lifetime collection of Tovino Thomas’ 2018 and become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time at the worldwide box office. Directed by Chidambaram, the survival thriller was released on 22nd February, and it received highly positive reviews upon its arrival. Considering the positivity all around, the film was supposed to be good at ticket windows, but no one expected it to be a record-smashing all-time blockbuster. Both in India and in overseas, it’s a mega success.
Manjummel Boys at the worldwide box office
On day 23rd, Manjummel Boys made a rocking entry into the 100 crore (net) club at the Indian box office and currently stands at 100.05 crores. In gross, it equals 118.05 crores. In overseas, the film has put on an impressive show by earning 63 crores gross so far. After combining the Indian gross and overseas gross, the collection at the worldwide box office stands at 181.05 crores gross.
With 181.05 crores gross, Manjummel Boys has surpassed the lifetime collection of Tovino Thomas’ 2018 (181 crores gross). So, the survival thriller has now become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time at the worldwide box office. It’s highly commendable, as the feat has been accomplished in just 23 days.

Even though Manjummel Boys will soon complete a run of one month, it hasn’t slowed down at ticket windows. So, from here, the target of entering the 200 crore club globally looks easily achievable in the next few days. If this happens, it’ll become the first Mollywood film in history to achieve the feat.
