Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 has taken a fine start at the Box Office. The film had the franchise factor going in its favor as well as the fact that it was promoted as India’s first porn-com. This ensured that the film got some good pre-release hype going for it as well as a good release, which registered its presence amongst the audience. However, there was major competition waiting for it in the form of Airlift and an excellent response to the Akshay Kumar starrer meant that Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 had to really battle it out hard.
The film took a good start for its target audience at single screens and B & C centers. As a result, the first day collections were 8.15 crore . Three years back when Kya Super Kool Hain Hum had released, it had taken a flying start and brought in 7.12 crore on its opening day. That said, it was a solo release of the week whereas Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 has arrived along with massive competition in the form of Airlift.

There are some challenges ahead for the film since the reviews are outright negative. Now that by itself wouldn’t have been an issue since this was the same story for first two parts as well. However, these films had managed to impress the target audience, as a result of which the word of mouth wasn’t all that bad. For Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 though, it would be pretty much a wait and watch situation for the rest of the weekend, as that would clearly define the way the film is going to sail in weekdays to come.
In 2012, Kya Super Kool Hain Hum had registered an opening weekend of 23.06 crore and it has to be seen if Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 manages to surpass that.
