Rajinikanth’s magnum opus Kochadaiiyaan opened with great numbers and amassed a huge collection of 42 crores gross worldwide. The film directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth was released in six languages. It made a grossed 30 crores in India and 12 crores overseas on its opening weekend.
Kochadaiiyaan made huge profits in the circuits of UAE and Singapore which are usually upbeat for every Rajinikanth movie. Only in its four days, the film has made a profitable business.The Distribution and Marketing President, Pranab Kapadia, Eros International Plc, declared in a press statement that “Fans of the superstar across the world have appreciated the film and it has opened extremely well in the overseas markets.”
The film being new on the digital front too has been lauded for its special effects. After having a smashing first weekend, it is expected to remain steady over the week and put up some big numbers for the one week collection.
