The Prajwal Devaraj and Raj Shetty-starrer Karavali was released in theatres on July 24. The Kannada film was released amid the Jana Nayagan storm. While Thalapathy Vijay’s film is in the Tamil language, the actor also has a huge fan following in Karnataka. Amid this wave, Karavali had an underwhelming start at the box office. Karavali Opening Weekend Collection
The film had a slow start at the box office, earning 0.68 crore on day 1. The film then picked up a little momentum and earned 1.14 crore on day 2 and followed it up with 1.64 crore on its first Sunday. The total net collection of the film stands at 3.46 crore at the domestic box office.
This is far less than the opening-weekend collection of Raj Shetty’s previous hit, Su From So. The comedy horror film that was released in 2025 earned 6.45 crore in its opening weekend. In comparison, Karavali’s collection is 53.46% lower than Su From So’s opening weekend collection. As for Prajwal Devreaj, Karavali has already become his highest-grossing film, beating his previous film Rakshasa.
