It was expected that Judgementall Hai Kya would open in the range of 4-5 crores on Friday. Well, the start has been better than expected as 5.40 crores came in. While the morning and afternoon shows were on expected lines and the occupancy was decent, the footfalls did increase towards the evening and night shows. Especially at the multiplexes of the major cities, the numbers saw a good jump and that ensured a good number eventually.
This Ekta Kapoor production is a niche offbeat film which is devoid of any Bollywood formula. Still, credit goes to the manner in which the film was marketed, promoted and released which resulted in a start like this. Now there is at least a platform available for the film to grow and if the reviews are any indications, a weekend jump is on the cards.
