Judgementall Hai Kya Box Office Day 1: After punching a bag full of controversies, the Kangana Ranaut, Rajkummar Rao starrer has finally made its way to the cinema halls. It calls about the mental health designed around a thriller.
The movie has started on a pretty decent note. Yes, the topic is not exactly something that will invite a huge number of audience. The word of mouth will definitely play a big role in order to decide the fate over the first weekend.
According to the early trends, the movie has collected in the range of 5-6 crores on its day 1. This is definitely better than Kangana’s Simran (2.77 crores). But, Judgementall Hai Kya had comparatively more appeal and pre-release buzz. It would be interesting to see how well it will jump over the weekend.
The story of the film is based on a murder and how a young man Keshav, played by Rajkummar Rao and mentally ill girl Bobby, played by Kangana are involved in it. The film also features Brijendra Kala, Jimmy Sheirgill, Amyra Dastur, Amrita Puri among others.
Prakash, a filmmaker from the south cinema, who has directed the film, on being asked if he will be able to cater to the Hindi film audience, said, “well I think telling the story is a personal expression. Some people will like, some might not, but the job of a storyteller is to tell the story honestly. And I am confident that a large audience will like this movie.”
