John Abraham’s Force Opens To Good Houses

The John Abraham starrer Force opened to good houses in North India.  At places like Ghaziabad and Noida, the opening show’s collections were 95 – 100%. At other places, the first show’s collections ranged from 65 – 85%.

Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster opened fairly well in North India but it’s initial in the rest of the country was dull.

Hum Tum Shabana opened to poor houses. A couple of places even reported cancellation of shows. Tere Mere Phere also opened to dismal houses. The initial of Dev Anand’s Chargesheet was no different.

Update: At Bioscope multiplex in Jodhpur, the 10 am show of Force saw an occupancy of 43%, the 12.30 pm show an occupancy of 33% and the 3.30 pm show an occupancy of 46.88% (210 persons saw the film in that show). On the other hand, shows of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster at the same multiplex saw markedly lower attendance. The occupancy percentage for the 9.45 am show of SBAG was 2.46% and for the 12.45 pm show was 11.48%.

Maya Mandir cinema in Ajmer saw a collection of Rs. 15,010 in the noon show of Force. The collection for the 1 pm show of the John Abraham starrer was Rs.  16,110 at Glitz, Ajmer. The 3.45 pm show at Glitz collected Rs. 29,730.
