Jawaani Jaaneman is an urban comedy that appeals to the audience but mostly in big cities. The film lacks appeal for a small city audience which makes most part of the country. Saif Ali Khan himself doesn’t carry the kind of stardom it needs to make the film reach among a large number of audience.
One day before the release of Jawaani Jaaneman, it has got a fair reach which can be rated as 5/10.
The promos of the film haven’t reached a huge audience but they have been liked by those who have watched. The music has also got fairly popular with songs like Ole Ole 2.0 and Gallan Kardi getting noticed. However, all this while a response that could take the film’s buzz on a new level remained missing.
I’ll rate the current buzz of the film as 4.5/10.
Overall, Jawaani Jaaneman is almost a solo release this week as there’s no major film releasing along with it. Street Dancer 3D & Panga haven’t done too well so both films won’t cause much damage to JJ. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has also started coming down.
However, since the merits to ensure a strong opening are very few, a first day of 3.5-4.5 crores can be expected. The film will rely on word of mouth and if it supports, the collections will definitely improve.
