In its second week, Jai Ho was the preferred choice of the audience as it added further 20 crore in its kitty. With no major competition around it and the collections being stable, albeit on a lower side, the film managed to cross the 100 crore mark. Currently it stands at around 107 crores mark after its two week run and may just chug along for a few more days till the arrival of Gunday.

One By Two has turned out to be a complete washout at the box office, what with just around 2.5 crore coming in its first week run. As things stand today, the film would fall short of 3 crore lifetime, which is a pity considering the fact that it was reasonably promoted. In fact for Abhay Deol too, this must be a huge shock because he would have certainly expected these to be the collections on Day One, and not lifetime.

Of course one wasn’t expecting great jump from the film in terms of footfalls, considering the fact that it was aimed at a niche urban multiplex visiting audience. However with that segment of audience shunning the film as well, it was a game of no-show from the very beginning. Very disappointing.

  1. We are Proud of Jai Ho : Eros CFO
Lots of Talk Going Around About The Profit Margin of The Main Distributor of Salman Khan’s Jai Ho, Eros International. We are Everyday Reading on Many Websites That They are Facing Bit Loss as The Film Has Not Done at Its Potential or The Expectation was Higher but This is CFO of Eros International Saying That The Film is a Profitable Venture for Them.

In A Recent Interview with Financial Express, Kamal Jain, Group CFO, Eros International Media Ltd Said, “Jai Ho is an action drama with a social message and slightly different from the usual Salman Khan fare, so the film was sensibly priced keeping this in mind. We are pleased to say that while the film may not have smashed box office records as is the recent trend, it is a profitable venture for us and we are proud to be associated with the film. It is definitely a key film in our portfolio that we will continue to exploit for the next 60 years”.

So There Should Not Be Any Further Confusion as Eros Itself Saying They are in Good Profit where The Producer Made Historical Profit From Jai Ho So Overall All are Happy and Salman also Gave RS 1 Lakh to Every Member From The Lightmen to The Spot Boys who Worked in The Film. He Gave In Total 2 Crore to 200 Members. So Its Happiness All Around…
