Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006)
Directed by Carlos Saldanha, the second instalment opened to the mixed reviews. It has a rating of 6.8 out of 10 on IMDb. It made a global sum of $667 million.
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009)
Directed by Carlos Saldanha, Dawn of the Dinosaurs too garnered mixed reviews but was praised for the animation. It was a big success with a global collection of $887 million. It has a rating of 6.9 out of 10 on IMDb.
Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012)
The fourth instalment was directed by Steve Martino and Michael Thurmeier. It received mostly average reviews. Rated with 6.6 out of 10 on IMDb, the film made $877 million globally.
Ice Age: Collision Course (2016)
It’s the lowest-rated instalment of the franchise with a rating of 5.7 out of 10 on IMDb. Directed by Michael Thurmeier, the film received negative to average reviews but still turned out to be a decent success. Compared to its predecessor’s $877 million, Collision Course drastically went down to $408 million.
