After surprising everyone with the performance, Teja Sajja’s HanuMan has finally slowed down at the worldwide box office. Globally, it’s the only Indian film after Fighter to hit the 200 crore milestone, but unfortunately, the dream of entering the 300 crore club might remain unachieved as the film is on the verge of exhaustion. Directed by Prasanth Varma, the superhero flick was released on 12th January, with its paid premieres being held on 11th January. The idea of paid premieres actually worked in favor as positive word-of-mouth set the stage for the film to succeed right from the opening day. It did help in gaining momentum against a mighty film like Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram.

HanuMan’s current status at the worldwide box office

HanuMan has completed a theatrical run of 33 days, and the collection is already well below 1 crore on a day-to-day basis. Speaking about the latest collection update, the film has raked in 199.45 crores net at the Indian box office, which equals 235.35 crores gross. With these numbers, the Tejja Sajja starrer has already attained a blockbuster verdict.
