Gulaab Gang suffered a poor fate at the box office. The film failed to pick up in its first week and had dull second week too. It collected a minimal figure of 1.30 crore in its second week, taking its total to 14.30 crores at the domestic box office.
The Madhuri Dixit Nene and Juhi Chawla starrer had created much hype with the trailers and also for their stellar performances in the film. What turned this film’s fate was a successful stroke of Queen which released alongside this film.

Also the film did not enjoy a healthy word of mouth, as a result, it failed to cash in on single screen theaters as well as multiplexes even after a much wider release over Queen.

With dull figures over the second week, it seems there were not many takers for this women-centric socio-political drama. This week being packed with four new releases, Gulaab Gang is sure to end its journey here.
