Ever since Avengers: Endgame hit the screens in April, more than its content, the talks of its worldwide records grabbed more headlines. Though Marvel Cinematic Universe’s epic conclusion unleashed the fury at the box office and surpassed earth-shattering numbers of Titanic, it missed another James Cameron directorial Avatar by not-so-big margin and thus failing to become the highest-grossing movie in history ever.
In last month, Avengers: Endgame re-released in theatres with the additional footage and seems like it just helped the movie in conquering the throne of the highest-grossing movie in history ever. The latest updated figures have just came out, which shows that it is lagging behind by $500,000 away from Avatar’s $2.7897 billion and it is to be covered by today.
Marvel boss Kevin Feige announced this huge feat yesterday at studio’s Comic-con panel.
