Cocktail did exceedingly well for the expectations most critics and audiences had from it. However, it now seems that the movie is almost on the verge of ending it’s run at the Indian Box Office.
After an opening week collection of 55 Crores, the movie actually had no competition except for the Hollywood release ‘The Dark Knight Rises‘. Considering the fact that both the movies, i.e. Cocktail and The Dark Knight Rises were a multiplex movie, there was no doubt about the fact that the Batman would eat up huge holes in Cocktail’s box office collections.

Cocktail made a fair 12 Crores on it’s 2nd week at the Box Office. However, the movie saw a huge drop on Monday. As compared to last Friday the movie dropped to a 60% low on Monday. The collections were merely 1.25 Crores. If the numbers keep dropping this way ‘Kya Super Kool Hain Hum‘ might just do away with Cocktail this coming weekend. Cocktail’s Box Office Collections as of now stands at 68.25 Crores nett.
