Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 has managed to pull off a superb business till now. The film was Akshay’s first release of the year and it enjoyed a great response at the box office. Now, in its sixth week, the film stands with a collection of 116.92 crores.
After taking a opening of 13.20 crores on its opening day, it continued, with a brilliant run in its opening week at the domestic market. To update you on Jolly LLB 2’s collection till now, the courtroom comedy drama has crossed the 50 crore mark in 3 days, 75 crore mark in 7 days and 100 crore mark in just 12 days.
It has become the 4th consecutive 100 crore film of Akshay Kumar after last year’s Airlift, Rustom and Housefull 3. The actor in totality has seven films in the 100 crore club. The film has also become a profitable venture for the makers with a profit of 160% made till now.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor and produced by Fox Star Studios, the film also stars Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. The film received ample of praises from the critics as well as audience and it performed way better than its prequel which starred Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani in lead roles.
Jolly LLB 2 is Akshay Kumar’s fourth highest grossing film of all time after Rowdy Rathore, Airlift and Rustom. The film also made a collection of 36 crores from the overseas circuits. It now stands with 199.68 crores at the worldwide box office.

Akshay will be next seen in Toilet Ek Prem Katha opposite Bhumi Pednekar who debuted with Dum Lagake Haisha and Robot (2.0) along with Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson, where he will be playing the lead antagonist. He recently started shooting for PadMan along with Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor which is being produced by his wife Twinkle Khanna.
