Bringing back the childhood memories, The Jungle Book has taken a huge opening at the Box Office. While it was expected that around 6-7 crore would come in on the opening day, the fact that it has touched an astonishing 10.09 crore is huge.
Disney marketed the film quite smartly (and aggressively) and would now be reaping benefits from it. The film has in fact taken the second highest opening of 2016 after Airlift (12.35 crore).

In fact if one compares it with the other Hollywood biggies that have turned out to be huge in India, The Jungle Book scores a place pretty high in the charts.
