Box Office: Rocky Handsome Is Just Decent On Friday

John Abraham’s Rocky Handsome had just about decent collections on Friday. The film was expected to record good numbers after Paid Previews brought in 1.77 crore on Thursday. However, with 5.29 crore coming in, the film has now accumulated 7.06 crore so far. Frankly, more was expected.

While it was predicted that competition from Hollywood release Batman v Superman won’t make much of an impact, that wasn’t the case to be as the superhero flick ended up collecting more. Though the word of mouth is mixed, the impact has still been felt from the collections standpoint. This isn’t all as Kapoor And Sons is continuing to do great guns and that further took away a good market share from the Nishikant Kamat directed film.

The good news for the film though is that at single screens and interiors, it has a market wide open. Hence, collections from these centers should be good for the action entertainer, which further caters to the markets there.
