Overall, the film has opened around the average of 25% across the country, which is better than many films which released this year. The film opening is better than Emraan’s last 6-7 films but not better than Jannat 2 and Raaz 3.
If the film picks up in the evening and night shows, it will stand with a respectable total on Day 1.
Azhar already has a massive buzz in the audience and the word of mouth can also work in its favour if the movie clicks.
