Batla House starring John Abraham in lead took to a good start at the Box Office despite the clash with Mission Mangal. Interesting promos and the big holiday did the trick for the film on an opening day and from there, the film has been helped by strong content and positive word of mouth.
The Nikkhil Advani directed film earned 47.99 crores in the extended 4 day weekend thus beating the weekend business of Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi which earned 42.55 crores earlier this year during its release on Republic Day period.
Batla House has scored 8th highest weekend of this year and is led by films like Super 30 (50.76 crores) & Total Dhamaal (62.40 crores).
