Yami Gautam-led Article 370 has picked up the momentum at the Indian box office. After taking a good start, the film witnessed a healthy jump on Saturday despite ticket rates getting back to normal. Now, being a Sunday, another solid day of collection is expected, and there are chances that the mark of 10 crores might get crossed today. Let’s find out how the film fared on day 3 in terms of advance booking!

Article 370 maintains a strong momentum!

Due to the occasion of Cinema Lovers Day on Friday, the film found itself in a sweet spot. With discounted ticket rates across the national cinema chains (PVR INOX & Cinepolis) and selected multiplexes, surprising footfalls were witnessed that helped this Yami Gautam starrer shine bright on the opening day. After a solid start, there were chances of a drop yesterday due to normal ticket rates, but as positive word-of-mouth is spreading like wildfire, healthy growth was witnessed.

Advance booking status on day 3

Coming back to the advance booking for Sunday, Article 370 has sold tickets worth 2.10 crores gross all over India (excluding blocked seats). If compared to yesterday’s 1.40 crores gross, it’s an impressive growth of 50%. It’s a sign that the film is going enjoy a solid number today, with over-the-counter ticket sales bringing in major footfalls.

Aiming to score in double digits!

Article 370 will definitely try to hit the 10 crore milestone on Sunday as occupancies throughout the day are expected to be much better than yesterday. Even evening shows are expected to run with good occupancies today. However, during the night shows, a dip is expected to be seen as the Sunday curse will dent occupancies across the nation. Still, 10 crores looks very much possible until and unless there’s a brutal drop in night shows.
