After having an decent opening on Friday, Sonakshi Sinha’s Akira showed some growth on Saturday at the box office. The film collected approx. 5.30 crores and now stands with the total collection of 10.45 crores.

Though the big jump was expected on its 2nd, but considering a female centric film, the collections are quite decent. The opening weekend collections of the film should stand around 18-19 crores.
Directed by A. R. Murugadoss, Akira also stars Anurag Kashyap and Konkona Sensharma in key roles.
