2 States maintained its steady run at the Domestic Box Office even on its 2nd Wednesday. As per early estimates, it collected approx 2 crores yesterday, which is again good! With this, 2 States now stands with a collection of 82.90 crores at the domestic box office.
Made on a modest budget of 35 crores, the film has so far raked up a profit of 47.90 crores. The film’s profit rate right now rests at 137%.
So far, the film has performed extremely well and stands strong at the second position as the highest grosser of 2014. The film starring Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles had a upper hand since it was a solo release. Also thanks to the lead pair’s mesmerizing chemistry, which helped the film to receive a lot of positive responses. 2 States coming from a big banner had created enough buzz pre-release to help it soar.
