1920 – Evil Returns took a decent opening in some of the mass belts across India. The occupancy of centres in CI, CP Berar and Gujarat was about 50% for opening shows. Though the average occupancy across India was about 35% the mass belts made up for it. 1920’s major footfall is in single screen theaters and the multiplexes were mostly poor.

If the movie manages to make a decent opening day number, it will surely have a positive impact on the movie’s weekend collections. The other releases Skyfall and Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana are doing well at the box office and might have some competition to offer.
