At the cover launch of Satrdust Magazine, media asked actress Zarina Wahab if she was excited about her son’s (Sooraj Pancholi) debut, she replied in affirmative.
“Yes, of course, I am excited. Maybe I’ll whistle in the theatre. I wish him all the best, he has worked really hard,” she added.

Sooraj got dragged into the case related to the suicide of actress Jiah Khan, which was a difficult period for him. The actor, who was allegedly in a live-in relationship with the actress-model, was arrested on June 10, 2013 for abetting her suicide on June 3, 2013.

Asked about the incident, Zarina remarked that since everyone knows about it, there is no point repeating it.
“After every night, comes the morning. And in our lives too, there was a morning in the form of Salman. Every person has to go through good times and bad times, but you just need to have the capability to tackle it,” she said.
