But most recently, Zaira Wasim hit the headlines after she took to her Twitter handle to share a post on the recent Locust attacks. It all began when Zaira choose to quote a verse from the Holy Quran to justify the Locust attacks.
Taking to her official Twitter handle, Zaira Wasim tweeted, “So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood: Signs openly self-explained: but they were steeped in arrogance- a people gave to sin – Qur’an 7:133.” However, her tweet attracted immense backlash, which eventually made Wasim delete her social media handle.
