Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in 2018 film Zero. The pre-Christmas release starring Katrina Kaif & Anushka Sharma alongside him was expected to be huge but it faltered badly. Zero was also Aanand L Rai’s only debacle since his first two films.
Ever since the Zero debacle, Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t been seen on the big screen. He has been working hard on choosing the scripts of his next films. It has been said numerous times that King Khan will soon make a big announcement of his upcoming films. But when? That’s the wait which is killing each and everyone.

Meanwhile, Pathan has been creating huge waves lately. As per reports, the upcoming big film will be produced by YRF and will star Deepika Padukone opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Both SRK & Deepika have given three huge commercial successes together i.e. Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express & Happy New Year. The film is expected to release on Oct 2, 2021, and an announcement of the same will be reportedly made at the 50th Anniversary of YRF.
