The rumour mills have been abuzz with the speculations of Sara Ali Khan being a part of Ashutosh Gowariker’s future project since she was clicked outside Gowariker’s office in Khar a few days ago.
Media has been trying to dig out nitty-gritty details about the meeting to know what could have transpired between the two.
We got to hear that director Ashutosh Gowariker has shown an interest in casting Sara opposite Arjun Kapoor in his next film, which will be historically based on the three battles fought between the 16th and 18th centuries.

According to a report in DNA, their source said, “Before the young actress paid Ashu a visit, the latter had dropped by on his good friend Abhishek Kapoor. He saw some rushes of the love story, Kedarnath, which features Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara. The Jodhaa Akbar director came away mighty impressed with her screen presence and performance. So, he wants to cast her in his own movie.” Ashutosh has already roped in Sanjay Dutt for a principal part for the same film.
On the work front, Sara Ali Khan will debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath which is all set to release in December, 2018. The movie is a romantic drama set in Kedarnath. Abhishek Kapoor has earlier directed Rock On and Kai Po Che. Kedarnath is being produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and the enterprising producer duo–Prernaa Arora and Arjun Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment.
