Post the evening of Rajinikanth’s Padma Vibhushan win, the civil court issued an emergent notice to Rajinikanth asking him to advise his fans not to pour milk on his banners and cut-outs in the interest of justice and equity.
Social activist Dr I M S Manivannan filed this suit in the civil court on 26th March.
In an interaction with the media he said that, lot of milk is wasted by pouring it on Rajinikanth’s banners and cut-outs. Instead of wasting milk it can be distributed to needy people.
He further added that, there are many malnourished children in our country because of poverty and that milk should be given to them. Rajinikanth should advise his fans not to waste milk.
The next hearing of this suit is scheduled on 11th April. Rajinikanth has two big upcoming films in the pipeline to release, which are Kabali and 2.0 (Robot 2).
