Sanjay Leela Bhansali created a visual spectacle, but did you know Shah Rukh Khan faced his fears while making the movie? Many will remember the scene where Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were on the ghar ka jhoola. The frame made a picture-perfect fairytale scenario. But what went behind was rather painful.
Shah Rukh Khan is actually scared of swings, to the level that he started holding Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s hand so tight that she might have gotten hurt. Recalling the moment on The Kapil Sharma Show, SRK shared, “Mere saath jo actress thi mai unka haath noch daalta tha. I was so scared I would hold her tight. Wo jo swing hota hai na, saavan ka jo jhula hota hai na, uspe nahi baitha jata.”

Shah Rukh Khan graced The Kapil Sharma Show for the promotion of Dear Zindagi alongside Alia Bhatt. He then narrated the story to his co-star, “Wo Devdas me hai mera wo scene. Wo chale jaa raha tha and Sanjay Leela Bhansali toh baar baar shoot kar rahe the. Dur se jhula aa raha tha paani ke upar aur bichari Aishwarya Rai ka maine haath maine aise pakda hua tha (tight).”
