When Salman Khan Said Only God Can Make Shah Rukh Khan & Him Friends Again After Their 2008 Fight!

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are best friends now. The duo never leaves a chance to shower praises on each other. But that wasn’t the case always. SRK and Salman have had their own share of fights which were even public. No one can forget their infamous 2008 fallout on Katrina Kaif’s birthday.
Due to that fight, the two superstars didn’t talk to each other for years. In 2011, when Shah Rukh Khan was asked about it on Koffee With Karan Season 3, he revealed that he isn’t great at keeping friends. On KWK 3, Karan Johar had asked SRK, “Do you think Salman Khan has a problem with you? Because you couldn’t keep up with the friendship?”
Shah Rukh Khan answered, “That’s what I said. I can’t keep friends. I don’t know how to keep friends. I would not like to blame anyone for disliking me. I take all the credit for the fact that people love me. But if people dislike me, it has nothing to do with them. It’s all on me.” The Zero actor said that he isn’t the one who can say sorry easily.
Shah Rukh Khan said, “If Salman has an issue with me, 100 per cent I have let him down. Farah has an issue with me, 100 per cent I have let her down. If you (KJo) have an issue with me, then I have let you down. And I feel sad that I have let people down. The funny thing is — as much as I know how to say sorry, I can’t get myself to say sorry. And it has got nothing to do with you.”
He added, “As much as I love hugging people, I can’t hug an old friend and say ‘come back to me’. Because I couldn’t do that with my parents. I hugged their dead bodies and told them to ‘come back to me’ and they didn’t. So, I’ve lost that quality to call people back. And this is not to create any kind of news byte, but ya, if Salman is disturbed with me, it’s got to do with me and he is completely in the right.”
Shah Rukh Khan said that he wishes he knew how to pick up the telephone and say sorry to someone. But he doesn’t know that and he is too old to learn that habit. Talking about Salman Khan, as reported by Pinkvilla, the superstar had said, “Only God can come and make us friends again, and that is not happening.”
To all their fans happiness and surprise, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan left behind their bitterness and hugged it out in 2013. It happened during Baba Siddiqui’s Iftaar Party. From that day till present, SRK and Salman have given BFF goals to all their fans.
