In spite of the India-England match being very exciting, the net collections of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ were to the tune of Rs. 3.6 crore. Does this imply that cricket matches prove to be a major opposition for films only if they (films) are weak? In other words, does it mean that only those producers, who have no confidence in their films, shy away from releasing their films when international or IPL cricket matches are being played?
