UTV Strikes Satellite Deals Worth Close To Rs. 150 Crore

UTV Motion Pictures has announced that it has locked satellite deals worth almost Rs. 150 crore for their 2012 slate.

With the demand for good movie content on broadcast networks surging, and with movies like Tamil blockbuster Vettai, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya and Paan Singh Tomar performing well at the box office, the studio has already signed satellite deals across a few of their current releases and their upcoming slate.

Including the recently released films like Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Paan Singh Tomar, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, the deals also include the highly anticipated Barfi!, Heroine, Rowdy Rathore and Joker. In addition to these films, the studio is in different stages of negotiations on this year’s slate of movies including the multi-starrer Race 2, India’s first 3D dance movie AnyBody Can Dance (ABCD), Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana and Ghanchakkar.
