Takht Update: Kalank Failure Won’t Affect The Shooting Schedule Of This Ranveer Sing-Vicky Kaushal Starrer

A while back, filmmaker Karan Johar announced his most ambitious project, Takht. The film will star Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor. It will be interesting to see such talents coming together for a period drama.

There were a lot of reports earlier about the film’s shoot getting delayed because Kalank’s failure. But it seems there’s no truth this as Karan is all set to go on floors in February 2020.

It is also being said that Karan is being extra cautious with Takht as he is also going to host acting workshops for the cast for diction and body language. Now according to a fresh report in Mumbai Mirror, everyone in the film has a different look. It is being said that Anil has to put on weight and Ranveer-Vicky will have to go lean. The source revealed, “The film kicks off in February with a start-to-finish schedule. Being a period film, the technical team is presently focused on the sets and locations and the script while also deciding on the diction and mannerisms of the characters. Work on the visual effects will take place simultaneously with the shoot so the film is ready on time.”

Well, we can’t really wait for this magnum opus to release on the big screens.
